Types of care available in Centuria, WI
The community was very easy to work with and very accommodating. Very nice staff, knowledgeable. Communication was fine, meals were offered 3 meals a day, no special diet options, choices if you wanted something else.
I love the facility and the staff at Our House Assisted Living. Things are going really well with my Grandmother, and I feel she's getting really good care. The size of the facility is perfect for what they do. The staff is very caring, understanding, and they treat the residents with respect and dignity. I wish they had more interactive activities for the residents. My grandmother loves to play bingo and participate in trivia contests. They read, and there's plenty of things going on, but some of the activities are just watching TV. It seems they're short handed. She likes the food, it smells amazing and looks great.
The last few months the staff have been so wonderful - I hear there is a new House Manger and she is doing a great job. My spouse is getting great care and I would recommend them highly for any of my family.

Nursing homes provide personal assistance and medical care from licensed professionals. Services in skilled nursing facilities often include:
A nursing home is a complex that houses at least two individuals who are not related by marriage or by blood to the administrator. A nursing home facility provides its occupants with around-the-clock care by registered nurses. These caregivers provide specialized care for those who cannot properly care for themselves due to their aging.
This type of facility is a convenient and comfortable care choice for persons 65 years and above, however nursing homes will routinely take in individuals 55 and older (a rarity in the realm of senior care). There are some services that may come at a cost to residents which can include personal reading materials, personal clothing, and a private room, unless medically needed. Many occupants of nursing homes are seniorswith behavioral problems. These can span verbal outbursts, resisting help, or a propensity to wander. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to get proper privacy, property, and living arrangements, exercise your rights as a U.S. citizen, be free from discrimination, and be free from restraints. Nursing homes are required to provide room and bed maintenance services, specialized rehabilitative services (treatment for mental illness or intellectual disability), a professionallly directed program of activities, and emergency dental services to residents. The most frequent mental condition effecting residents of nursing homes is dementia, which can cloud their decision making capacities, memory recall, and and familiarity with their surroundings.
