Only been at HH for slightly over a year but have found all the nurses and staff to be very friendly and helpful, always willing lend me a helping hand when I need it. I enjoy the many little features that are provided, which are not provided in other living environments. Every week a new menu for all the meals for the ensuing week, an Activities calendar the month with live entertainers at least every 2 weeks, exercise programs almost daily, games and social get togethers, and religious sessions for those who want them. In all, HH is organized to help the residents enjoy their stay. I almost forgot to mention the providing of transportation to medical appointments off campus. This has allowed me to sell my car and save money. The drivers are friendly and our chats have been enjoyable. Needless to say, I like HH and living here. It is now HOME to me.
My mother was only able to spend a few months in the memory care section of Juniper Village at Mount Joy, however, the care and compassion of the staff along with the cozy setting finally enable her to relax and feel at home. If you are looking for a warm and cozy setting for your loved one, I would definitely recommend Juniper Village.
My dad is currently a resident at Magnolias of Lancaster and I love this facility for him! The staff is personable and professional. They are very knowledgeable and helpful. Housekeeping is very clean. The move in process was easy and non stressful. The brunch we had was phenomenal. [Names removed] are top notch.
