Magnolia Place of Saxonburg
5.0

I recommend it to everyone that I meet. I've taken their brochures to our Area Agency on Aging and have them put out where people could see them and pick one on. I have nothing but great things to say about Magnolia place of Saxonburg. The staff is wonderful they take good care of the patients and they actually care for them. That's a big plus they don't just work there as a job. I've experienced that first hand more than once. I've even got a phone call when my mom's not having a good day to let me know. The place is clean it doesn't smell and you can get in anytime you want. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Shelbourne Personal Care in Butler, PA
5.0

The staff members and the quality of care has been wonderful. The staff members do such a great job interaction with the residents, they are always with them. They also give residents the freedom to go in and out as they pleased but also they have enough staff at the community to watch over all of them. There is a courtyard they are able to gather at, there is a recreational room they can hang out in as well as go in and out of each others room to play cards. The staff have been phenomenal. The activity director moved on - they are currently working on hiring a new person, but before they left they had at least three different activities each day. There was a cooking class where they would bake cookies and they each can take turns doing the ingredients. They are able to ride on the bus for shopping trips - our loved one is so much more upbeat and happy and feels like she has 10 years back on her life. The staff members really treat the residents with respect, it is a very positive atmosphere. The maintenance guy is so friendly and always just pops in and out of their rooms to see if they need assistance with anything. Also another big plus, is no matter what level of care your loved one comes in at - the price always stays the same even if their level of care changes.

Lowrie Place in Butler, PA

I would recommend. I picked this location because of the proximity to my home. Also the small number of residents. Overall presentation of the facility.

We had a great experience at Newhaven Court. Sadly, my dad started to have dementia symptoms that required a memory care facility, and there were no openings in the memory care unit of Newhaven Court.
