My husband and I are very happy with Edenton. The staff are good. We have good communication and they are always ready to answer our questions. The community is clean and the grounds are well maintained. The food is good. I would recommend this community.

A nursing home is a facility that houses at least two individuals who are not related by blood or by marriage to the administrator. A nursing home facility offers its occupants 24-hour care administered by registered nurses. These nurses provide specialized care for those who cannot take care of themselves because of their aging.

Nursing homes are required to provide dietary services, pharmaceutical services, a professionallly directed program of activities, and nursing and related services to residents. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to get information on services and fees, be treated with respect, to manage your money, and have protections against involuntary transfer or discharge.
