Types of care available in Greenfield, MA
The community is always clean. Every time we visit, my mother's apartment is always clean and the bathroom is always clean. Very high marks for cleanliness. Some of the staff is a bit friendlier than others, but they are all great with the residents. The care could be improved for the higher needs residents. The staff is really good about engaging the residents in activities. If a resident does not want to participate, they are good about encouraging them to do so in the future. Corcoran House is definitely worth the price. During the Covid-19 pandemic, we think Corcoran House is doing everything they can do protect the residents. During the community lock down, the staff has really stepped up to assist further than usual. It has been very difficult for my mother to be in quarantine.
Sunrise is a bit pushy on the sales end to get your family member in quickly. I would recommend if you're going to regular assisted living. Memory care assisted living I would do a deeper research.
This is a very nice place, very comfortable. This a very clean facility probably the cleanest I have seen. Everyone is pleasant.
