Serenity Hill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Wrentham, MA
5.0

My mom was here for only 7 months in the long term unit. She had some dementia and came from assistant living for 5 years. She never thought of it as a nursing home. She still thought she was in assistant living.. To the family, that is the biggest compliment a nursing home can receive.. I would recommend Serenity Hill to others..thank you for being there for mom, especially during this time. She loved you all..

As I expected; pleasant. Food needs to improve; there are more people with memory problems than I expected. We picked this community because of the location, ambiance, and the fact that rooms are live in place.

Nursing Homes

A nursing home community offers lodging to at least two persons who have no personal relation to the administrator. A nursing home community offers its residents 24-hour care by registered nurses. These caregivers provide health related services for people who cannot adequately take care of their needs because of mental or physical conditions, including age.

This type of community is a familiar and easy living choice for persons 65 years or older, however nursing homes will routinely individuals 55 and above rarely heard of in senior care regarding other care types. Many inhabitants tend to be single women with less social support, and about half of nursing home residents are older than 85 years old. Nursing homes are required to provide routine personal hygiene items, pharmaceutical services, dietary services, and nursing and related services to residents. There are some services that may come at a cost to residents which can include a private room, unless medically needed, personal reading materials, and personal comfort items. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to exercise your rights as a U.S. citizen, be free from abuse and neglect, get information on services and fees, and have protections against involuntary transfer or discharge. Often times individuals might prefer life in a nursing home due to a mental or physical condition that makes it difficult for them to accomplish their standard of living.
