I would recommend this facility to others. All interactions that I have had with all of the staff have been great. Also, my mother has not had a complaint that she has told me about. So everything good. I can't rate the meals or activities as I haven't personally been involved with those.

Nursing Homes

A nursing home offers lodging to at least two persons who have no family ties to the administrator. A nursing home community offers its occupants around-the-clock care by registered nurses. These caregivers offer health related services for seniors who are unable to care for their own needs due to mental or physical conditions, including age.

This type of community is a convenient and comfortable care option for persons 65 years and above, however nursing homes will take in persons 55 and greater (a rarity in the world of senior care). Some services come at an extra cost which can include cosmetic and grooming items, a private room, unless medically needed, and special care services not included in the community’s Medicaid payment. Many residents of nursing homes are humans with interpersonal social issues. These can include verbal outbursts, resisting help, or a propensity to wander. Many inhabitants are bachelors or widows with circles of support, and about half of nursing home residents are over the age of 85. As a resident of a nursing home, you can expect the right to be free from restraints, get information on services and fees, participate in activities, and spend time with visitors. The most frequent mental disease effecting residents of nursing homes is dementia, which can hinder their memory recall, and familiarity with their surroundings, and decision making capabilities.
