Our loved one was previously a resident at The Phoenix at Lake Joy. The quality of care declined. If not for hospice, I don't know what we would have done. We ended up moving our loved one to another facility. I would not recommend The Phoenix at Lake Joy to others.
My brother was in the Memory Care unit at Summer's Landing. Each resident has a private room which is quite spacious. My brother felt as though he had his own apartment. The staff is wonderful - very kind, caring and patient, exactly what you want for your loved one. The food is good - not institutional tasting. I highly recommend Summer's landing.
The family has had no complaints since moving mom here. She is adjusting and doing well seems happy and content. The community is kept very clean and maintained.
