Independent Living
We are very pleased with our choice. The facility has a home like feel. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. My mom loves the food and raves about it. They encourage families to come and eat with them. I would recommend Peregrine Salisbury to others.
We chose Commonwealth because they were the best that we were able to find in the area and they are also a veteran oriented facility. I do think it is a good facility, but unfortunately dad was not here long enough to get acclimated.
My loved one is a resident at Commonwealth Senior Living at Salisbury. Some of the staff are warm and friendly, others are not. It is hard to connect with them. It doesn't seem like they have enough or the right mix of staff. A few are exceptional and others are mediocre, cold, irritated. Don't want to be bothered and defensive. My loved one states concerns with the food, specifically the temperature and also getting items off of the anytime menu. As for the Value for Cost, it is a lot of money. Hard to gauge if all the value is being derived that could be. My parents quality of life has improved dramatically and dad is safe and has a lot more choices then if he were in a nursing home.

An Independent Living Community provides residents the opportunity to live active lives while ensuring their care requirements have been met. Daily needs such as housekeeping and the scheduling of social activities are accounted for, which permits seniors more free time to live their lives as they wish.
