Valley Terrace in White River Junction, VT

While driving around Vt. and passing by Valley Terrace Assisted Living I noticed how welcoming the flowers on the balconies were. Time passed and my daughter introduced me to several assisted living facilities. With encouragement from my family I moved into Valley Terrace as it was a small community, there are walking areas and a flower garden. There are many activities both mentally and physically. The nursing staff keeps me from worrying about my health problems which is a BIG plus. Working through the virus challenges we will hopefully return to a normal life and "there will flowers on the balconies once again."

The Village at White River Junction
4.5

It has been about one year since my siblings and I relocated my mom to The Village at White River JCT. (Memory Care). Of course it was a difficult decision and process, but necessary. The difficulty factor was mitigated some when we met the staff. They were all very welcoming and friendly. From the director to the janitor, it was all smiles and positive. Part way through mom's first year, we wanted to have an update on her health and well being. It took longer to get that meeting than we wanted, but once we finally did, we learned more about the staff's commitment to supporting Ma. I am confident that Ma is safe and well cared for at The Village. I believe we choose the right place...Thank You

Village At Cedar Hill, Inc in Windsor, VT

Cedar Hills Continuing Care Community is just fabulous. My mother has Alzheimer's and she has broken out a few times. They didn't have alarms on the windows at first but they quickly got them after that. The staff there really do what they need to do to improve themselves. It is a newer thing to have an Alzheimer's exclusive unit at this facility. Kathy that works there is right off the charts excellent. The staff really find different way to help mom. They include the family. They have family picnics free of charge to get everyone together. The activities they offer are excellent. The staff really work hard to engage mom. They have just been fabulous. The staff are always trying to learn more about her. They wanted us to bring pictures in to make a memory book with her. They have a white board that keeps track of visitors and things going on so she can reference it without getting frustrated. The staff let her set the table and keep busy which she really enjoys. This facility just couldn't get any better.
