We felt instantly at home when we first toured Legacy. The weight of the decision can't be understated! We really value dads home: and all the care that goes into making it a good living experience.
When I walk into Legacy House of Spanish Fork the feeling of comfort is immediate. The staff treat me like family and everyone is so friendly. The residents are happy and eager to share their home with visitors. The feeling is different at Legacy House of Spanish Fork, it's welcoming and there is always a smiling face as soon as I walk in.
They keep everything very clean, and the staff is very friendly. I think they are in line on a cost basis with the industry. I found less expensive places but they were smaller. There were places that were more expensive and less expensive, but this was sort of the better of the mid-range places. I know they are very busy, but they may not always understand the urgency of a health issue, if it's the first complaint. It would be nice if they didn't wait so long to get in touch with the on call nurse or doctor if a resident has a complaint, even if it seems minor. They have plenty of entertainment and activities. The food is nothing to write home about, she hasn't complained. They do the laundry and it's fine, they do an okay job, but when they bring it back, it's stuffed back into the same container and when she pulls the clothes out, they are wrinkled, It would be nice if they could bring the clothes back on hangers.

If you would like the peace of mind of having many of your frequent tasks managed while living at your own pace, consider independent living. You or your loved one may use their free time as they desire while their meals are cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and social activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between locations, numerous residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always utilize the services of private health care professionalls. There are a variety of expenses and benefits to keep in mind while determining an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are included in the care plan: wellness program, utilities, field trips, move-in fee, cable TV, private phone, laundry, and internet access. The benefits associated with independent living include laundry service, community activities, security guards, healthcare center, restaurant-style dining hall, fitness center & swimming pool, golf course, and transportation.
