Our loved one is still getting settled in so she has not been able to fully take advantage of the activities but she has participated in some of the musical events which she really enjoyed. We also like how it looks more like a home versus an institution.
The selection was based on availability within a geographic location. That being said, the facility has has been a great fit for my elderly family member. I'm very satisfied with the facility.
Overall, things have been going well for my loved one at The Victorian. He doesn't like the food, The parking here is not good, and there have been some miscommunications about things. The first month there was a little rough, but things are getting better. They have some activities like Bingo and other games, and the aides here have been very nice and accommodating. I think that once all the kinks have been worked out, The Victorian will be a really pleasant place for my loved one.
