The food is good. Help with showers due my disabilities is great. Place is warm in winter, cool in summer. Best is how nice the owners and their employee daughters are to all of us.

Easy Living Estates of New Stanton in Hunker, PA

We're very pleased with the care at this community with one major issue. It's a lovely place, very clean, and the staff are friendly. However, they cannot deal with any sort of intravenous care. Any sort of IV has to be done elsewhere, which may be an issue for some residents.

The Residence at Whitehall IL and PC in Pittsburgh, PA
4.1

The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. They communicate appropriately with family, no matter the time of day. We had a family holiday meal catered at the facility and the food was terrific! We will do it again. My brother has met many people he kn there and has also made some new friends. I would recommend The Residence, though the price went up considerably in less than a year.

Independent Living

If you would benefit from the peace of mind of having many of your frequent tasks taken care of while living the way you wish, consider an Independent Living Community. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and interests. While policies differ between locations, many residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always enlist the services of private caregivers.
