Everything is going well for my mother since her move to this community. She is doing well, and I'am pleased with all they have done for us. This community is working out pretty well for us, and it is a good place with kind people.

Southern Pines
4.1

Southern Pines Gracious Living has been a very good place for my mom, small enough that everyone knows each other and greats you when you come in. Staff is curious and helpful when needed. They don't provide nurse care or therapy but have some companies on site that do. I could not be happier with those providers!

Heritage Place in Fayetteville, NC

The staff have been very friendly and accommodating towards the family and our loved one. The community is clean. The experience has been excellent for us so far.

Complete guide to independent living

Hamlet, North Carolina

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community permits residents the ability to live their active lives while making sure their care requirements have been met. Occupants can continue to use their free time as they wish while their food is cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and social activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Typically comprised of a private living space and a full kitchen, these communities offer homes with many of the amenities of apartment life but without the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and there will be more time to spend with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies differ between communities, numerous residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with independent care providers as desired. There are an assortment of benefits and expenses to keep in mind when choosing an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are covered in your plan: private phone, housekeeping, parking, utilities, field trips, transportation, internet access, and initial assessment fee. The conveniences associated with independent living include beauty salon & barber shop, healthcare center, private rental hall, transportation, golf course, community activities, concierge services, and security guards.
