Overall experience - very good, everyone is helpful. Cleanliness is good. The individual room could be cleaned more often. The staff is friendly and nice. Quality of care is good. We had a delay in setting up appointments but looks like we're on track now. The meals are simple and tasty. For activities, they plan something everyday. It is a good value for the care that's given. I'm pleased with facility and my loved on is happy there.

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community allows residents the chance to continue to live active lives while assuring their care requirements are met. Basic needs such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and social activities is maintained, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they see fit, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they choose. While policies differ between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to utilize the services of private medical providers, they always have the option. There are a number of costs and advantages to keep in mind while determining an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are covered in the plan: parking, initial assessment fee, internet access, Waiting list deposit, utilities, field trips, laundry, and housekeeping. The amenities that pertain to independent living include game/TV room, community activities, healthcare center, golf course, private rental hall, fitness center & swimming pool, beauty salon & barber shop, and restaurant-style dining hall.
