Hampshire House will keep the home fires burning, providing all of the care and attention that a resident needs to experience the most that life has to offer. Our skilled staff is on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, offering a helping hand with bathing, grooming and dressing, drug therapy and dosage, as well as other basic requirements. If necessary, quick response is assured with an emergency call button located in every room, all bathrooms and common areas.
A wide variety of scheduled activities, educational programs and trips serve to compliment our comfortable daily routine. All of these unite to create a comprehensive wellness program which promotes independence and control while assuring sound health security.

Overall experience - very good, everyone is helpful. Cleanliness is good. The individual room could be cleaned more often. The staff is friendly and nice. Quality of care is good. We had a delay in setting up appointments but looks like we're on track now. The meals are simple and tasty. For activities, they plan something everyday. It is a good value for the care that's given. I'm pleased with facility and my loved on is happy there.

Positives: They are accommodating to my aunts needs, they respond quickly to emails and phone messages. My aunt likes the "homey" feel of the facility. Negatives: Lots of staff turnover. Meals/snacks are mediocre at best

I choose Hampshire House because it felt more homey . Hampshire house didn't seem to be over crowded and the people were very nice and respectful. It was also affordable. They almost always make themselves available .

I would highly recommend Hampshire House to others. The staff is amazing and so helpful with everything. Moving in was a very easy process and they were so helpful in getting mom to meet residents there and to make friends. The food could get a little better, but other than that no complaints.

Staff has been incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. Good communication at every step. Everyone is friendly. We are always greeted when we pass a staff member. They have helped a reclusive person into one who is engaging in activities and programs. There is a full calendar of activities Great value for the cost.

It is an honor to care for your loved one!
The staff was very helpful and friendly at Hampshire House, but they seemed to be short staffed. The staff was also very helpful during the move in process. It took my Mom almost two weeks to get a land line phone, which was her only line of communication and could have been better handled. The medical personnel were in the dining area serving food. The lack of fresh fruit and vegetables was disappointing. My Mom says that a lot of the meals have some type of gravy on them. My Mom was able to bring her cat, which was a blessing! The facility is generally very clean. I would highly recommend this facility to others!

We are fully staffed at Hampshire House and love to serve our residents at mealtimes as it is another opportunity for socialization. In order to do that, we do like all of our staff in addition to the dining services team to pop into the dining area during mealtimes as that is where all the residents are at that time. This gives our nursing team, activities team, and other staff members a chance to see how residents are interacting with their tablemates and observe any concerns we might need to pay attention to (for example if a resident's appetite changes suddenly). We do serve plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables and most everything is made in house from scratch. I would be happy to talk to you about any specific meal requests your loved one has as we can accommodate plenty of options. My husband has been here 2 years now and I am confident that he gets good care. Having to deal with the covid-19 has been very challenging and I know that they are doing the best they can.

The best thing about living here is the friendliness and kindness of the people who work here. you are so great to the residents who live here and I talk to a lot of people and I think everybody feels the same way. Amy and her staff are like my family.

I note that no reviews have been posted since 2015. There is a reason for this. The place has definitely deteriorated since then - both in terms of physical maintenance (grounds poorly kept - and no air conditioning!). Short staffed. No actiities. Terrible food. The second floor, housing persons with very significant cognitive impairment, reeks of urine when the door is open. This place cannot be recommended.

Had a very good talk with [name removed], but due to covid restrictions she stayed in her office. we met face to face using facetime. she answered many of my questions. downside of this place is it is approx $6900 per month, well above budget, and also the available unit is shared bathroom and shower is in a separate room.

We had a few issues with the Wellness director. The other staff and aides were outstanding and very attentive to my mom. My mom was in the dementia wing and when they quarantined for the virus they closed that wing off from the rest of the building which really limited the space that those residents had access to. It cut them off from most of the common areas and the walking areas that they used daily. The temperature was not well regulated at all, my mom's room and the whole wing was always very hot.
