The staff at the East Northport Bristal is always kind. They always have a smile on their faces and are genuinely sweet and loving to my mom. The facility is ALWAYS spotless and beautiful to live in or visit. The only area I see occasional improvement for is the food. It is not always hot and more fresh veggies needed. The personal care and overall facility is excellent.

Many seniors may be able to live without assistance, but cost of owning a home might deter them from enjoying an otherwise independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities offer a convenient remedy to this situation. Occupants can continue to live their lives as they desire while their food is cooked by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and recreational activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they prefer. While policies vary between communities, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always utilize the services of independent care providers. There are a number of benefits and expenditures to keep in mind when choosing an independent living community. It is important to learn if these services are included in the plan: parking, meals, transportation, initial assessment fee, field trips, internet access, wellness program, and laundry.
