A very loving and caring staff. The food was very tasty and well prepared. My wife was only a resident for eleven days but she was treated very well. I would highly recommend this facility.

My father has been in this community for about a month and a half now and he is very happy! He likes being independent, that was the biggest issue for him was being able to come and go when he wants. Also, he can put his tv as loud as he wants. The building is an older structure. If he complains about anything, they fix it or communicate it to me right away. For example, I bought him some sheets and he didn't like them, so the housekeeper lets me know so I could exchange them. The meals are provided. They have sign ups for if he wants to go out, they take him.

The staff is very cordial/caring. Communication with the family is good. All went well with the move in process. The meals generally okay. I would recommend this facility to others.

Wayne, Nebraska

Independent Living

If you or your loved one would like the peace of mind of having housekeeping and chores taken care of while living life the way you wish, you might want to consider an Independent Living Community. Meals, leisure activities and housekeeping chores are handled while you are unrestricted to use your time as you desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between communities, a number of residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to enlist the services of private medical providers, they may always do so. There are an assortment of costs and benefits to balance while deciding on an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are covered in the service plan: meals, parking, initial assessment fee, laundry, private phone, transportation, wellness program, and move-in fee. The benefits that pertain to independent living include beauty salon & barber shop, restaurant-style dining hall, game/TV room, golf course, transportation, concierge services, private rental hall, and community activities.
