They are really good to the residents at this community and are very qualified for the care that is provided to them. They recently just got a new activity director and are waiting for the changes. They have activities like bingo and then during the holidays they have crafts for the residents to do have a good time in the community. The staff really care for the residents.

The foyer of the facility is very homey and is always bustling with energy. The staff makes a great effort in getting to know the residents and their individual personalities and needs. They also welcome family and encourage participation from family in all the events. It's not the most modern of places but it's very comfortable and feels like home for my dad.

Great place and staff. We picked this community, because they had a lot of residents and staff. My loved one, regrets that she didn't move in earlier in her life, and she loves it.

Independent Living

For seniors who desire to live primarily without personal care assistance but wish for the assistance of having their household chores handled by professionalls, an Independent Living Community could be the perfect option. Basic chores such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and social activities is maintained, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they choose, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between locations, many residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to enlist the services of private medical professionalls, they may always do so. There are a number of expenses and benefits to consider while selecting an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are covered in your plan: move-in fee, transportation, wellness program, private phone, meals, housekeeping, utilities, and cable TV. The conveniences associated with independent living include fitness center & swimming pool, restaurant-style dining hall, golf course, healthcare center, transportation, game/TV room, private rental hall, and security guards.
