The facility and staff were ok, location is great.

Magnolia Place New Albany

The staff at Magnolia Place was outstanding! The compassion, friendliness, and level of care they provided my sister was out of this world! Simply incredible. Sadly, my sister passed away...Through all of that, too, the help and care the staff gave us was such a tremendous blessing. There are no words to adequately express how awesome the people are at Magnolia Place. [name removed] was the manager and she was just awesome. The facility itself was very nice ~ but the people working there make it somewhere the residents feel at home and where they are loved.

Every time we have been able to visited the community it has been clean, and the staff to patient ratio seems to be pretty even. Prior to COVID everything really did seem great. We would recommend this community to others

To make sure the parents do not have Dementia or Alzheimer's at all before going there. It's really a good place though but. Doesn't hurt if your parents are already on Medicaid/Medicare it would help.

Independent Living

If you or your loved one want the convenience of having your chores taken care of while living the way you wish, you might consider the option of independent living. You or your loved one can use their free time as they see fit while their meals are prepared by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are taken care of by staff, and recreational activities are scheduled and organized. If medical or nursing support is desired, residents may always enlist the services of private health care professionalls. There are an assortment of benefits and costs to keep in mind while determining an independent living community.
