Amazing Facility and incredible Staff. I am so happy I chose this Facility for my Mom who enjoys living here. The staff is amazing and always available for help and are so caring. [name removed] the Administrator cares very much for her residents and has helped me anytime I have an issue. Her concern for my Moms well being as well as the other residents is very comforting. I don’t have to worry about Mom now as I know she is well taking care of and Happy. Thank all for you for the Love and Care you give my Mom.

Brookdale Hattiesburg Assisted Living
4.8

The staff at the Brookdale Hattiesburg I was amazing. The friendliness and special attention given to each resident at this community made the decision to choose this place so much easier. The meals are all prepared very good with correct portions and very nutritious. The complex offers a range of activities and even asks the residents for their input on what new activities they would like to add! The cleanliness is very good overall but the maintenance could use some improvement with the cleaning of the bathrooms.

I moved my mom into this community for good care. I am not happy that they moved her into another room and did not infor us. She is happy that the community is clean. She seems to be happy with the meals. They do offer her activities, but she is not active. I would not recommend this community myself.. Other families might consider this community when looking for care for a loved one.

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities offer seniors an equilibrium between an independent lifestyle and not having to worry about chores. Basic chores such as meal planning and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is maintained, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they wish, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar ages and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of a private living space with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between communities, numerous residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services can always be arranged for with private care providers as desired. There are a variety of benefits and expenditures to consider when selecting an independent living community. It is important to determine if these amenities are covered in your care plan: parking, field trips, laundry, transportation, meals, utilities, Waiting list deposit, and cable TV. The benefits and amenities that pertain to independent living include community activities, concierge services, beauty salon & barber shop, transportation, golf course, private rental hall, fitness center & swimming pool, and restaurant-style dining hall.
