The staff are so nice and friendly! Very caring and take great care of my uncle! They are always smiling and take such good care of my auntie [name removed]! She enjoys BINGO and their BBQ days! She likes her room just wants a better view! I would recommend this building to anyone in the Mt Pleasant area!

Colonial Villa in Midland, MI
5.0

The staff members at Colonial Villa are awesome, we would rate them higher than a five if we could. During the lock down they were still amazing and handled the chaos very well. The time our loved one was there for respite, they worked very well with us and really treated our loved one good. The activities they offered were good as well.

Green Acres of Mt. Pleasant in Mount Pleasant, MI
4.5

My mother lived in the memory care unit here and we had a great overall experience with them. I was a little concerned with the level of attentiveness of the staff at times. For example, she needs someone to provide water/drinks for her and give her the initiative to drink it, otherwise she will go without. At times she was a bit dehydrated. Otherwise, the community is fabulous! It is very nice, open, and colorful with lots of windows -- a great atmosphere. It is not drab or hospital-like at all. It is a relatively new community, so they are still growing. I would say it would be a great place to go!

Mount Pleasant, Michigan

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community provides residents the choice to continue to live their active lives while making sure their care requirements have been met. Basic needs such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is provided, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they see fit, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between locations, numerous residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of private health care providers, they always have the option. There are a variety of advantages and expenditures to consider while selecting an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are covered in your plan: move-in fee, transportation, internet access, wellness program, cable TV, Waiting list deposit, private phone, and laundry. The benefits associated with independent living include community activities, game/TV room, golf course, security guards, concierge services, restaurant-style dining hall, transportation, and beauty salon & barber shop.
