I haven't tried the food, but my sister isn't a fan. It's a little expensive as my sister needs extra care/help with meds and has a dog that must be walked. Most of the staff are friendly and caring. I believe I would be happy there with all of the nice residents and activities. My sister has had a little trouble acclimating and misses her grandchildren. And, the staff is friendly with one exception. We would recommend Brookdale!

We had a great experience and would do it again. Even though we didn't stay long due to mom's passing, it was still exactly what we needed.

Independent Living

Independent Living Communities provide individuals with an equilibrium between an independent lifestyle and not having to concern themselves with housekeeping. You or your loved one may continue to use their free time as they wish while their meals are prepared by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and social activities are organized and scheduled. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering an opportunity to entertain guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies vary between communities, many residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing care is desired, residents may always enlist the services of independent caregivers. There are an assortment of expenses and advantages to consider when selecting an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are included in your service plan: laundry, internet access, parking, housekeeping, utilities, wellness program, meals, and move-in fee. The luxuries associated with independent living include community activities, healthcare center, golf course, private rental hall, beauty salon & barber shop, game/TV room, laundry service, and transportation.
