Independent Living
Both my Mother and now my Mother in law have been residents of Otsego Place. It has given my husband and I a great feeling of comfort knowing these two ladies had the best of care. The staff are like family, the food is excellent, and there are lots of activies for them to participate in. This is an independent living facility so they can come and go as they please. There are different levels of care so that if Mom has some issues you can taylor the care to her needs. Yes it costs more for each level of care, but good care is not cheap and we want the best for our parents.
A very loving and caring staff. The food was very tasty and well prepared. My wife was only a resident for eleven days but she was treated very well. I would highly recommend this facility.
My father has been in this community for about a month and a half now and he is very happy! He likes being independent, that was the biggest issue for him was being able to come and go when he wants. Also, he can put his tv as loud as he wants. The building is an older structure. If he complains about anything, they fix it or communicate it to me right away. For example, I bought him some sheets and he didn't like them, so the housekeeper lets me know so I could exchange them. The meals are provided. They have sign ups for if he wants to go out, they take him.
