My mother was a resident at Syringa Place and this facility is a very good Assisted Living place. The cleanliness and friendliness were great. The staff was great as well. My mother just needed more one on one care, so she was only at this facility for a short time. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Twin Falls Manor

Woodstone Assisted living is a very nice community. We really like the care they are providing and it is inline with our budget. The staff is very attentive and friendly. They are easy to communicate with if we have any questions or concerns. The food is very good here, the meals they serve offer variety and good choices. They offer activities and encourage the residents to participate. They print out a schedule of activities three times a week. They offer transportation but we have a van with wheelchair accessibility come out for our needs so we are all set. The community is nicely landscaped and there are a couple of patio areas to get out outside and enjoy the fresh air. There is smoking allowed outdoors. I would recommend this community to others.

They are very family oriented and good to the residents. They do offer a lot. it's a larger community, and I thought It was the best fit for my loved one, and it's not. They need to itemize charges and be clearer with ther billing process. The staff is very nice and attentive. Overall, I would recommend.

Twin Falls, Idaho

Independent Living

Many seniors may be able to live without assistance, but cost of owning a home and the maintenance of the property might be a deterrent to enjoying an otherwise independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities offer a good solution to this situation. Basic tasks such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and leisure activities is provided, allowing residents an opportunity to use their time as they wish, free from daily obligations. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and backgrounds. Typically consisting of a private living area and a full kitchen, these communities offer homes with many of the amenities of apartment life but with none of the hassle. Guests can be invited over and entertained, and more time can be spent with them with the basic maintenance of daily chores out of the way. While policies vary between locations, a number of residences allow cats and dogs as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always enlist the services of private health care professionalls. There are a number of expenses and benefits to balance while selecting an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are included in your care plan: cable TV, move-in fee, Waiting list deposit, parking, initial assessment fee, wellness program, housekeeping, and field trips. The conveniences associated with independent living include game/TV room, community activities, healthcare center, security guards, private rental hall, restaurant-style dining hall, beauty salon & barber shop, and concierge services.
