This is a place I would recommend you check out for your loved one. The staff are wonderful and friendly to work with. The staff communication has been great with the family. There are three meals a day served to the residents, and it is a dining room. If the resident doesn't like what is being served the staff are willing to accommodate a request made by the resident.

The Phoenix at Lake Joy in Warner Robins, GA
3.4

Our loved one was previously a resident at The Phoenix at Lake Joy. The quality of care declined. If not for hospice, I don't know what we would have done. We ended up moving our loved one to another facility. I would not recommend The Phoenix at Lake Joy to others.

Summer's Landing of Warner Robins
4.3

My brother was in the Memory Care unit at Summer's Landing. Each resident has a private room which is quite spacious. My brother felt as though he had his own apartment. The staff is wonderful - very kind, caring and patient, exactly what you want for your loved one. The food is good - not institutional tasting. I highly recommend Summer's landing.

Vienna, Georgia

Independent Living

An Independent Living Community permits residents the ability to continue to live an active lifestyle while ensuring their essential needs have been fulfilled. Frequent needs such as the scheduling of social activities and housekeeping are accounted for, allowing residents more opportunities to live life as they desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they choose. While policies vary between communities, numerous residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services may always be arranged for with independent care providers if desired. There are a number of expenses and advantages to keep in mind while deciding on an independent living community. It is important to figure out if these amenities are included in the plan: private phone, field trips, utilities, move-in fee, laundry, wellness program, internet access, and meals. The benefits and amenities that pertain to independent living include fitness center & swimming pool, beauty salon & barber shop, restaurant-style dining hall, private rental hall, game/TV room, laundry service, concierge services, and security guards.
