It is a great place to live and yes I would recommend people to go there. The staff is wonderful and caring. My mother loves living there.
These are but a few words to describe my apartment at Westmont Village. The entire apartment is well planed so it is wheelchair or scooter usable in every room, including the bathroom. And closet, cabinet and drawer space is exceptionable. The restaurant is open for two hours for each meal so I can eat on my time schedule. Yes, there are occasional “hiccups” but that is what makes life livable. You won’t believe it until you experience it.
Since the moment I walked on to Atria Del Rey in Rancho Cucamonga, I knew it was the place for my dad. Welcoming and kind, smiles and so helpful. The transition was perfect. It was all about my dad, his safety and needs. Not for a moment did I have any second thoughts. Daily activities and menus were visible. I watched an exercise class and everyone was smiling and participating. I feel so blessed that Atria Del Rey was available to our family. Definitely am expressing my experience to everyone I meet. Thank you so much to all staff at Atria Del Rey Rancho Cucamonga.

Independent living offers a stress-free lifestyle for older adults. Independent living communities don’t provide personal care or supervision, but do offer generally healthy adults opportunities for socialization and hassle-free living. Independent living services often include:
Many seniors may be physically and mentally capable of living without assistance, but cost of owning a home and the maintenance of the property might deter them from living an independent life. Independent Living Communities offer a good remedy. Daily needs such as the scheduling of social activities and meal planning are accounted for, allowing occupants more opportunities to live active lives as they see fit. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar ages and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they choose. While policies differ between locations, numerous residences allow pets as well. If medical or nursing assistance is desired, residents may always enlist the services of private care providers. There are a variety of expenditures and benefits to keep in mind while determining an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are included in your service plan: Waiting list deposit, initial assessment fee, move-in fee, private phone, internet access, laundry, transportation, and housekeeping. The amenities that pertain to independent living include private rental hall, healthcare center, game/TV room, laundry service, restaurant-style dining hall, fitness center & swimming pool, transportation, and beauty salon & barber shop.
