My mother is happy here. My mother is in the memory care unit and they don't have many activities on that side, they seem to do more activities on the assisted living side. The staff are good with my loved one.

Crestview Senior Living in Cabot, AR

The community is very friendly, and helpful. The staffing numbers could be improved as the numbers are lacking in some areas. The food is fantastic. I feel my loved one is safe and well cared for here. There is a care staff member that has taken my loved one under their wing and has really assisted my loved one, on her own accord, and her name is [name removed].

Independent Living

Many seniors may be physically and mentally capable of living without assistance, but the financial burden of home ownership might be a deterrent to an independent life. Independent Living Communities provide a convenient solution to this situation. Residents may continue to use their free time as they wish while their food is prepared by a professionall chef, housekeeping and laundry duties are handled by staff, and social activities are scheduled and organized. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to be among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Residents’ quarters consist of private living spaces, each with their own kitchen. The independence of apartment life is still enjoyed, offering opportunities to socialize with guests and visitors in a private and personal setting. While policies differ between communities, numerous residences allow pets as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of private medical providers, they may always do so. There are an assortment of costs and advantages to balance while determining an independent living community. It is important to determine if these services are included in the plan: transportation, meals, wellness program, initial assessment fee, housekeeping, cable TV, move-in fee, and utilities. The conveniences associated with independent living include concierge services, laundry service, private rental hall, transportation, restaurant-style dining hall, game/TV room, security guards, and healthcare center.
