I've lived here for a year and half. I love the residents and we have a lot of fun together! [name removed] the manager, and [name removed] the maintenance man, have promptly taken care of all my needs for my apartment.

My aunt is still adjusting with her move into the community. The community is clean and well-kept. The staff is nice and helpful. There are activities offered for the residents. My only issue has been with the food: I feel there should be a healthier selection. I do feel they are taking very good care of my aunt so I would recommend this community.

Independent Living

Many seniors may be physically and mentally capable of living without assistance, but the cost burden of home ownership and the upkeep of the property might be a deterrent to enjoying an otherwise independent lifestyle. Independent Living Communities provide a convenient solution to this situation. Basic chores such as meal preparation and housekeeping are handled by staff and a calendar of recreational and social activities is maintained, allowing residents the autonomy to use their time as they see fit, free from daily responsibilities. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy an opportunity to live among peers, surrounded by others of similar age groups and backgrounds. Within the individual units, residents have access to their own private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a companion if they choose. While policies vary between communities, numerous residences allow pets as well. Nursing and health care services can always be arranged for with private care providers as desired. There are an assortment of expenses and advantages to consider when selecting an independent living community. It is important to learn if these amenities are included in your care plan: wellness program, move-in fee, Waiting list deposit, parking, private phone, internet access, initial assessment fee, and housekeeping. The benefits and amenities that pertain to independent living include concierge services, golf course, beauty salon & barber shop, restaurant-style dining hall, security guards, game/TV room, community activities, and private rental hall.
