Legacy Village of Salt River in Scottsdale, AZ
4.0 / 5.0

My loved one is currently a resident at Legacy Village of Salt River and overall this facility is a 4+!. The staff is good. Their responsiveness to issues is good. The food is good. Housekeeping is once a week and works well for the resident. The move in was stress free and they were very accommodating. My loved one is settling in and feels very safe and well cared for. I would recommend Legacy Village of Salt River to others.

Their meals were outstanding! We love love love The Renaissance! Unfortunately my mother-in-law couldn't get along with her neighbor so it was her problem, not the communities, but we decided to move her out. We're still sad that it didn't work out.

MorningStar at Arcadia in Phoenix, AZ
4.9 / 5.0

The place is well run and very nice. I feel comfortable leaving my wife there. It is a little pricey, but generally first-class. They really seem to operate as a caring family. It's definitely a place that people should check out.

Independent Living

If you would like the peace of mind of having your housekeeping taken care of while living the way you wish, think about the option of independent living. Food preparation, leisure activities and housekeeping chores are taken care of for you while you are unrestricted to use your time as you desire. Along with their daily needs being met, residents can enjoy the opportunity to live among peers, in a community with others of similar age groups and interests. Within the individual units, residents have access to a private living space and a full kitchen, and can even live with a partner if they choose. While policies vary between communities, numerous residences allow cats and dogs as well. If residents decide they would like to employ the services of independent health care professionals, they always have the option. There are a variety of advantages and expenses to consider when selecting an independent living community.
