Seagrass Village of Gulf Shores community has a great atmosphere. The staff is very helpful & the place is just beautiful. It has been a good transition for us.

Although my mom is still adjusting I know in my heart that she is where she should be. Her biggest complaint is that she has to ask for any over the counter medicine she wants to take, ( ie: aleve, etc) it's not allowed in the residents apartments. Everyone has been very friendly and attentive. I know she is getting 3 healthy and tasty meals a day. When we were out shopping the other day and I called to tell them she would not make it back for lunch, they put her meal in her room so she wouldn't miss it. I give The Huntingdon at Homestead Village a ??

The Brennity at Fairhope Senior Living

Things were a bit rocky when my father first moved in. They had removed the hard wood floors and replaced them with carpet without telling us. We spent $6,000.00 having hard wood put back in. While they do take care of maintenance, the staff is somewhat marginal. My father and other independent living folks need to stay on top of the staff to get things repaired. Despite those two things, The Brennity has been good for my father. He is developing new friendships and I think he feels secure there. The cottages are nice and the clubhouse where they share their meals is nicely kept. Despite the couple of negatives, I think the Brennity is a great independent living facility.
