Clara's Sitting Service in Metairie, LA
5.0 / 5.0

The compassion and empathy displayed by Clara Sitting Service's caregivers are truly heartwarming. Their responsiveness to our needs has been a great comfort during a challenging time. The cleanliness and organization are an added bonus! I can't thank Clara Sitting Service enough for their outstanding care. The staff is not only professional but also like a second family to us.

Grandma Joan's Live-In Care Consulting and Recruiting in Oakland, NJ
5.0 / 5.0

Grandma Joan's provided me with a very easy to use platform to find and employ a live-in caregiver for my 104-year-old dad. All the administrative details which would have been very hard for me to find out and deal with were included in the step-by-step guidance provided. On one hand the service is pricey but on the other, not easy to find a comprehensive package that would have resulted in such a trustworthy arrangement, which was the overarching criterion. California has stricter rules about payment to caregivers than other states so cost is simply higher but given that as an unavoidable feature, this was still a more viable set up than I could otherwise find. All in all, I am very glad that I was referred to David and his service which has so far had a good outcome.

Saint Bernard, Louisiana

Home Care

Home health aide service offers the luxury of many services that can be administered in your family’s home. In-home care provides a number of services including assistance scheduling medical appointments, short-term nursing care, and local transportation. A majority of home care providers review potential seniors before admission. This screening might include medication use, skin problems, and health problems. This type of care can provide various medical services such as opening container lids, aid in self-administration of medication, and assisting residents in drinking fluid to swallow medication. Additionally, care services offered can comprise meal preparation and ventilator care. Senior home care may also afford your family member assistance going grocery shopping and doing laundry. Finally, non-medical home care can provide your family member with health services such as assistance with ambulation and transfers from wheelchair to bed.
