Worthington Place

Only complaint is that she had to walk without help from the dining table to her walker which was 6 feet away. She fell really hard and had to be taken to the hospital where they drained a large amount of blood from her right lung. This happened 2 weeks after she moved in. She never recovered from that fall and died 2 months after she moved in.

I would recommend Worthington Place. We picked this community because of the smaller environment, ratio of medial staff vs patients, overall atmosphere was positive.

The place is very clean and inviting. Most everyone is very nice and helpful. I feel like my loved one is very safe and happy there. She also really likes her apartment.

I find this facility to go above most. The caregivers there enjoy the people and workers and the place. They have no complaints. I would give 10 to all categories except food. Based on the experience we have had, we would recommend this community to other families

Worthington Place would get a 5 for all categories. I have no complaints at all with any of the staff there.

They are an overall pleasant group of people and try their best to take care of everyone. They have limited staffing so sometimes it takes a bit to be let in the front and to wait on a nurse to help with medicine set up.

This place is very involved with every individual all staff is very friendly helpful & informative I can't say anything negative about Worthington.I would highly recommend this place.

I picked this place for its size, staff to resident ratio and overall feeling of home being there. I would recommend Worthington to others.

They are so awesome. I'd like to go there if I have to be in a home. I picked this community, at first because it was closest to out house but after visiting, it was the cleanest, and friendly.

They are very friendly and informative about your parent's health they also keep them active with activities. We picked this community, because of the pricing and the very friendly nature of staff. I would definitely recommend to other families.

The different levels of care makes up the price, so it can be expensive. But I would definitely tell others to call and check it out ! It's so different than normal nursing homes. More dignified of course it is licensed ! They were bought by a new company July 1st of 2022. They have the same staff that are there, not different ones all the time . This is the best decision we have made so far!

The staff was always kind, seemed to stay busy. Housekeeping was ok I. did have ask for a vacuum once. Dad had popcorn all over the floor. [Name removed] got the vacuum and did it himself. Family communication was good. The few falls dad had, I was contacted. He had to go to the hospital once . I should have got him picked up, but they told him he would be taken back. He was, but 4 hours later. The apartment itself was nice and easily manageable for him. I would recommend this facility to family and friends.

Worthington place strives for a “homey” atmosphere. Residents have studio and one bedroom apartments. The residents are able to “age in place.” As their needs increase, more assistance is provided. The staff has been good to work with individual needs and requests.

Worthington Place has been a wonderful home for my loved one. The facility itself is very clean and well-designed. Her apartment is cozy and pretty, with a built-in bookcase and kitchenette. The dining area is nice, and I like that it is designed for everyone to eat together if they wish. There is a beauty salon inside, which makes it very convenient for my loved one to get a haircut. The staff is caring and attentive. They are always willing to listen if my loved one or I need anything. If she does need help with anything, they are willing to listen and make any changes necessary to accommodate her. They are occasionally short staffed but it doesn't seem to last long. Even so they seem to try very hard to make everything safe and comfortable. My loved one seems happy here.

The best place we found for everything you want for a loved one to have So far very happy with our choice and would highly suggest coming here and checking it out before putting your love one anywhere else

I took a look at Worthington Place last weekend. I think my dad is probably needing more like a nursing home but the sales person and director were very helpful and nice and I wish we would have looked sooner because I think he would have loved it there before he got so sick. The nurse is going to assess him. Reaonice place. People seemed happy.

The administrator is always on top of everything. You can call or text her anytime and she is always willing to help however she can. It is easy to get to know staff due to the size of the facility. Most employees are very friendly. The facility is so clean and you feel comfortable being there. My loved one really likes their "apartment". My loved one has complained that the food isn't very flavorful so they would like to see an improvement there. Overall, my loved one enjoys everyone and has made friends. They're comfortable there and takes advantage of the activities and exercises. The PT, OT staff are great as well. I am comfortable and enjoy visiting . The staff is there if you need them but you can also have your privacy which is a big factor for my loved one. Just like every other place they could use a few more employees to meet everyone's needs faster but overall they are doing a pretty decent job.

This is probably the best place that you can put someone in. This is for sure one of the best and I like it a lot. None of these places are perfect but this is the best that there is that I know of. They are really friednly people at this community. They have activities like bingo, and more for the residents to stay busy and active in the community. They also show movies from time to time for the residents.
