I really enjoyed having my mother at westlake assisted living . She wasn’t thriving when she was admitted . The staff was prompt to do things that were needed in a timely manner . When I needed to ask a question or has a concern. The owner cared for our needs I would highly recommend westlake Asst living

Let me start off by saying if you value quality care service for your loved ones, respect for yourself and your loved ones and dependability. Please save yourself the pain and money and seek other options. I have witnessed on "several" occasions the owner, her name is [name removed], curse out staff, residents, and other visiting family members. [Name removed] also go out of her way to verbally attack you which has happened to me more than once, especially when our family made the decision to move my grandparents to a different home. When the owner of a business does not have the no how to conduct business with any level of professionalism, you should not be in business at all. There are just too many things to mention in this one review on [name removed]'s inability to run a business, which is just one large part of the problem. The next issue, perhaps the biggest issue is the staff. Aside from the abundant turnovers. I honestly can't blame the staff for quitting, after all who wants to be cursed out, disrespected, and underpaid on a daily basis? The staff is either not trained to take care of the residents that need care, or they just don't care. Several times have the staff had to be reminded and corrected on how to care for my grandparents. One mistake could've sent one of my parents to the ER, thankfully I was there to quickly step in. This was truly the worst experience I have ever had with a residential care home. Several families have left A Victorians place as of late and moved on elsewhere. We are now at a wonderful place called [removed], and the owners are absolutely beautiful Christian people, and the staff great. A few other residents from Victorians Place are also here as well, which is great as the residents get to continue friendships with each other.

We visited here in May 2012. It is a nice place. They opened a 2nd home on the same street for type B residents. I was somewhat interested but my sister was not.
