Waterford was the first and only place we looked at. We just had the sense that it would be Mom's new home. I think no matter where you place a loved one, there is a period of adjustment. It did take my mom a few months to accept that she needed to be there and to trust the caregivers. After that she was happier. She has been very happy there and appreciative of the staff does for her. They all love her. It's evident every time I go see her. There's a very positive environment at Waterford. Everyone is helpful and friendly. They go out of their way to be accommodating to all the residents. Her overall health has improved tremendously since she's been there due to healthcare and healthy diet.

We were on a little bit of a time crunch but we found the garden area and outdoor area with Waterford Gardens to be a big plus for us. The rooms are a little on the smaller side and we have to wear a mask, but when we are outside we do not have to. The staff and chef have been able to keep our loved ones blood sugar at the correct level which we have not been able to do for years so for that the chef is very good. The activities are little iffy and everything is expensive these days but overall it is a good value.

This is the place I was looking for. I can't imagine my loved one being in another community. The gardens and waterfalls on the grounds of the community are so peaceful for the residents to take advantage of. There is a pleasant smell to the community. All the staff have been friendly and willing to communicate with the family about any changes about our loved one.

[name removed] is getting good care and the helpers are very friendly. Getting out for [name removed] is rather hard, but so far has been workable. [name removed] is not a very happy camper, but help was much needed. He likes to be in control and that is no longer possible for him.

[Name removed] was very friendly and very helpful. Although, I do not think this is the place for my Dad. It just did not meet my expectations that I wanted for my Dad. This place seemed to be more for higher need seniors.

Under the circumstances that we had, they did everything they could have done. We could not have asked for any more. It's a very nice place, and the staff there at Waterford Gardens is extremely friendly and professional.

I did not know that places like this existed. My father and I were heartbroken to even consider the fact that we could not continue to take care of my grandmother at home. However, after one visit to Waterford Gardens, we were completely confident that this was a very positive move for Grandma. They are so much better equipped to meet every one of her needs. The place is SPOTLESS and the staff is AMAZING! I truly feel that my grandmother is getting much better care than we could ever offer her simply because we do not have the knowledge to be aware of all of the subtle changes in her health that the nurses and staff are able to pick up on. I really feel like this was the best decision that we could have possibly made. You really owe it to yourself and your loved one to, at the very least, visit.

We had a lovely second tour today with Lucille Cavazos. We feel like we will make a decision in the next day.
