Really good management in the beginning (13 yrs. ago). Quality of management has diminished over past 6-7 yrs. Community now includes new apts and townhomes. Mgt. has to split time b/t the two facilities. Senior facility is supposed to have mgt. now 2 days a week. Last manager fired in Feb. 2022. Took 6 mos to get new manager; however, she rarely shows up. When they do show up, the door is closed. Some residents r doing whatever they want and nothing is policed. Nice apartments, reasonable rent but very bad management. It is becoming more and more like living in a HUD controlled building. Many residents are extremely frustrated. If you complain about living conditions, the response is "you can move." They know affordable senior housing is extremely hard to find - 1 to 2 year waiting list is most places. The only person who gets a 5 star rating here is the maintenance man.

There's favoritism and residents smoking weed and the manager don't do anything about it due to lack of evidence and it happens every night. The maintenance guy goes in people's apartments when he thinks they ain't there. The manager is quick to blame things on people without actual evidence. It's the worst experience I've ever had. The only amazing thing is the the place is really nice but other than that it's not worth it

Well kept and maintained. Treatment of senior community needs work. Little concern for convenient parking for residents, especially those with physical handicaps. Only 4 handicapped spaces b/c there are 4 handicapped apartments. Though there are signs indicating "resident" and "visitor" parking, management allows visitors to park in resident spaces "if the resident has no automobile." Since residents are not assigned parking spaces, this procedure makes no sense. Rent increase doubled last year with no explanation as to why. People in community use parking lot as a thoroughfare and there are no speed limit signs or speed bumps to prevent them from "flying" through the lot. Complaints registered by residents get lost. If more "affordable" senior housing were available, many would move.

There is favoritism between management and some residents. As far as management, she has told some residents about other residents which should not be. The places are really nice, two bedrooms for one person and the price is good. They do have Bible study every thursday but we don't have a coordinator to plan anything for the residents. In my opinion I think they need another manager.
