DO NOT SEND A love one here!!! My mother has passed over a year ago and they were to return her money, a lot, by contact to us. The company refuses to do so. Food is not very good, some of the service workers are very kind. THIS IS NOT A CHRISTIAN ORGANIZATION. They will not give money back from a legal contact.

It was nice. A smaller community. it was very pretty, and a nice piece of property.
Today I visited www.VineCroftRetirement.com This is a Senior Living Cumminity in Clarence, NY, 14032. Also stated in their website A Christian Based Living Cummunity. The web was inviting as far as picture's & friendly welcome to our community. I called and left my contact number & information. I did mention I was moving in near future because the house I'm now living in will be for sale in the upcoming months. I received a return call from a Staff member. Not to my surprise did I find out that people had a choice of renting there as well as one time down payment + monthly $. Into $3.000.00 per month but all inclusive was a 1-bedroom apt. She was extremely rude after I questioned the quote. Than she told me she had nothing else to say to me & simply hung up..! I read the reviews prior to her returning my inquirey message..! People Beware and READ THEIR REVIEWS.! Especially regarding Hot meals & Housekeeping..! Not so inclusive..! Not so nice to even speak to. Who hangs up on a person just asking questions..!

The apartments were bigger than many in the area. We were a bit put off by the fact that the rent only covers two meals a day and that hot lunches are only available four times a week (at a price). So yes, the monthly rent is lower but you need to pay for a lot of things on top of that. It is a smaller community, and although it is Mennonite founded, clients seem to be largely Catholic. Housekeeping is only every other week, whereas once a week seems to be the norm. Again, you can pay for the additional service. The second person fee is lower than most but this is because all they are providing for this fee is two meals a day, one of which is only a continental breakfast. Exercise facilities are minimal and common areas, although well maintained, are small and limited. This place is NOT COC; you cannot move into assisted living without moving over to the expensive Bristol next door which will not accept pets. I don't see moving them into a place when they will inevitably have to move again; and my father will need that much sooner than my mother thus forcing us to move her int something she doesn't need in order to avoid splitting them up (and she would have to give up her dog just as she faces losing her husband).

A Place for Mom has scored Vinecroft Retirement Community 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
