Just what we needed

It was the Social Worker who decided that my mother cannot stay there anymore due to the doctor stating she needs more care and he wanted us to leave and take her out within one day and I told her no that we were paid up to the end of the month you gave us 14 days and I will take every day, but besides that one person, everyone was very helpful very accommodating Very resourceful with my mother and I would stay there myself... Family friendly

The facility was extremely open and friendly to all family members. The facility worked with us to get my mom acclimated to the place and try different solutions.

a nice community, but meals could be improved

We have no major complaints here, but from what we are told the breakfast meals are good but the dinner meals are not. So the dinner meals could use improvements.

A good community but needs improvement

The community itself is clean, but we have had sometimes with the internal house keeping of our loved ones bedroom and bathroom, but that is currently being fixed. The staff members are friendly and the care services overall are good but we have had a couple of small issues here and there. The meals and dining service is good, but our biggest complaint would be with the activities. There is almost nothing going on and we have visited on multiple occasions. There seems to be a real lack of encouragement from the staff, and paying for memory care is much more expensive so right now the expectations regarding the activities are not being met.

Nice, Friendly Staff

I'm concerned with medication distribution for my loved one. It is a nice community for my loved one. The staff is good to work with, sometimes there is a delayed response in the call button. My loved one seems to enjoy the food.

They made it very simple, & had there not been a pandemic & he'd been there longer, he'd have really enjoyed it

We really didn't have any issues with them at all. They were very friendly and nice. I think they went out of their way to work with us and accommodate us based on our loved one's individual needs, which I think is really important. Because everyone doesn't fit into the same box. To me that was a great factor in their favor. Because of the pandemic, there were a lot of extenuating circumstances, and they really tried to make it as easy and comfortable as possible. There was visitation allowed, but in different forms as things changed with Covid. At first we could go to his apartment, and then we had to switch to outside visits. They were very accommodating based on what was happening at the time. Our loved one didn't particularly care for the food, but we come from a family of caterers, so he had high standards. He also had a swallowing issue, so they had to blend up his food, which he didn't care for. And I don't blame him for that. We were really only there a short time, but I would definitely recommend them to others.

Review of Villas of Holly Brook & Reflections Springfield

We chose Reflections because it looked and felt like a place for dad to LIVE out the rest of his life. The staff is caring and responsize to the needs of dad and our family. Everyone I have encountered is helpful and happy, this shines in their interactions with him. Dad has stayed active, busy and most importantly has fun with the staff. During this difficult time of Covid, I believe their policies maintain a nice balance of safety in their community and mental health for the residents and families. Reflections has met our expectations and I'm pleased with our choice! To the Staff, THANK YOU and GOD BLESS!

Review of Villas of Holly Brook & Reflections Springfield

My dad has lived in the Villas of Hollybrook for almost a year. The administration and staff have been caring and attentive to his needs. We are very grateful for the precautions that have been taken regarding covid-19. They recognize the severity of the virus as well as the importance of visiting with loved ones!
