Hello, I visited my cousin recently at Van Duyn. Attended at the check-in station was very helpful and signing in and also help me find elevator! Everyone had warm smiles on their face! my visit today was wonderful. Enjoy being there and I plan to come back soon to visit my cousin.! Replacement up very fresh, almost like flowers!

I would recommend Van Duyn, I liked the service I received from the Nurse practitioner and the Podiatrist. I didn't realize this service was also provided there. [name removed] the Director of Social Work deserves 5 stars! The Nutrition and Housekeeping team was A+!

Beware, my experience at Van Duyn was very dismal. Cell phones and work avoidance seemed to come before care for 85-90% of the staff. We had frequently missed medications, meals, etc…. My family member as well as other residents I had contact with were frequently left wet for hours or all night. If they had a bowel movement, I felt it was a game to see if they could put off changing until the new shift started. They were usually (6 out of 7 days) without enough help on any given floor, and there were a few people who worked hard, but most had such apathy and what seemed like a lack of supervision and support that they just didn’t care. Getting help was a waiting game. Medications that were due at 4 sometimes came at 6 or not at all. On several occasions meals were not sent for our loved one and we essentially had to fend for ourselves. We would clean the room ourselves because it never got swept or mopped! The mood is miserable unless you have the capacity to take care of yourself!

I went to Van Duyn for rehabilitation because I was having trouble walking. Therapy encouraged me o walk again, actually all of the staff did. The concierge team was kind and helpful. Thank you to all who have helped my journey from Van Duyn!

I would definitely recommend Van Duyn, the staff was awesome! They welcomed my mother with open arms when we arrived, the concierge team is awesome, and they really made me comfortable leaving my mother.

I would recommend Van Duyn, this was absolutely the right choice. Nursing was fantastic; therapy was phenomenal; recreation was excellent and the concierge didn't disappoint. I would return without hesitation.

I didn't use all of the services but Physical ad Occupational Therapy was a good service. All the services were good and the staff that made my stay more comfortable is [name removed](PT) and [name removed](CNA).

I like the physical therapy at Van Duyn Center a lot. It improved my mobility. [name removed] from social work was good and provided good communication. The food, housekeeping and laundry were all good. Concierge tended to my concerns and brought me the things my daughter would drop off.

I really like it here at Van Duyn. All the nurses are great. They take amazing care of me, and they do everything in a timely manner. I would give Van Duyn more than 5 stars if that were an option.
