For more information about senior living options
When I first started looking at communities for my Mom, I liked that they were one of my cheaper options compared to everything else that I’ve looked and they have 3 different facilities. When I walked in I got more of a homey feel. Everything is spacious, bright and open. All of the rooms are picked up every single day with a complete cleaning once a week. The other really good thing is that they have really big bathrooms so it’s more wheelchair accessible. The food is good here and they serve 3 meals a day with snacks in-between. On holidays they do special meals or if it’s in the summer they have BBQ. Besides the cookouts they also offer to take the residents to special events outside the facility, they take them on walks, do crafts with them, play movies in the community room, and also bingo. I would recommend this community.... Read more

A Place for Mom has scored Valley House with 0 out of 10 using our proprietary review score based on 0 reviews in the last 2 years. Over all time, Valley House has 3 reviews with an average "overall experience" of 3.7 out of 5.
Very nice "homey" feel. Staff very kind and caring with residents. On the negative side - they can't guarantee aging in place to death. There is a potential that if a resident requires lift/transfer that they would request the family to move the patient. Rooms were adequate in size w/ample closet space. Residents seemed very happy.
