The Windsor Senior Living Community

This is the nicest assisted living facility I have ever walked into. It is so clean. All of the residents and staff members are extremely friendly. I highly recommend The Windsor Senior Living Community.

I cannot give the Windsor and its incredible staff enough stars to reflect the tremendous heart it has! Finding a place for one’s loved one is a difficult, overwhelming process. It’s obvious too that many retirement facilities are a business first and foremost and lack a genuine sense of passion and commitment. The Windsor is an exception to this rule. Upon entering the facility, there is an immediate sense of embracement by all, along with a feeling of being home. Every single staff member is engaged in rolling out a welcome mat. The staffs’ passion and dedication for its residents and living environment is reflected in all that they do. Of course, making this decision/move is still difficult no matter how incredible the place and staff are, but this is understood. They are with you for every question, concern, and doubt. They are so professional, knowledgeable, and caring. Thanks from the bottom of our hearts for the Windsor's great heart and the peace of mind!

The value for cost gets a 5+ Time for breakfast is 7:30 - 9:30 and lunch is 11:30 - 13:30. I suggest lunch 12:30- 14:30 I think the old adage you get what you pay for! Fellow patient and staff or extremely friendly and always looking to help

They contacted me in under 24 hours and had the apt set to view the facility quickly. It was a great experience. My aunt is very happy living at The Windsor.

We weren't sure about senior living, where to look or what to expect. When we visited the Windsor, we felt so welcomed and at home after just a few minutes. After touring the community and visiting with some of the residents, I knew that when the time is right, The Windsor is the place for us to live.

The Windsor Senior Living Community is an excellent facility with a stellar staff.

I'm unsure if its their fault, but they're going through personal care systems like they're going out of style. They have lost 3 or 4 since my loved one has been there. They have replaced some of them, but very inefficiently. I don't know if they're having troubles hiring people, but the lunches don't run on time either. They're being delivered at different times for Assisted Living residents. They just hired a new set of people for housekeeping and they're going through employees too. I'm unsure if its a contracted company, or if they're through their staff, as they arrive in a car marked for a cleaning service. Independent Living residents who can come and go or drive themselves - they can actually deal with it easier, rather than the people who are handicapped or dependent.

I'm very impressed. The facility is very clean. The staff are very nice with older people. You cannot find better people. They are well organized, and I am well cared for overall. They can bring you to your doctor appointments and pick you up. There are a lot of activities - bingo, films, people coming in to sing and provide entertainment. I'm happy with the value. I have no complaints. You can finish your life very well here.

The meals are great but we do feel like the meals are very early and we just take them back to our home to have the meals later. We feel like we are getting a value for the money that is spent at this community. For us this community is perfect for what we need. No one here is a grumpy or unhappy person. I don't know everyone but everyone I have encountered is very friendly. This community feels like an apartment hotel. Everyone is friendly and everyone is treated the same. I personally love the location. Its just a different atmosphere and it feels homey.

This is a pretty good place for the money. The community is able to provide medication assistance for my loved one. The times are not always consistent and this would be helpful if they would be able to improve on this for our loved one. This is a clean community; however, they could do better at cleaning under furniture. The food is really good in tastes; however, the portion sizes are small. Bingo, religious services, and more are some of the activities for the residents to choose from.

My husband and I are in our third year at Windsor and don't take a moment to look back. It is perfect for us in every way. My husband has memory issues but has a loving staff and family here surrounding him to have genuine quality of life. He participated in almost all activities and everyone here loves us deeply. We feel it and we know it. This seems to be one of the best kept secrets on the Northshore. However where ever you are in your senior journey it is worth checking out. You won't regret the your and information. No pressure!

We toured this community for the care of my family. We liked the staff members who were able to answer the questions we had. The community was older but clean and maintained. We like the list of activities and the menu that appeared to have a nice variety. Families might want to tour this community for good care of a loved one.

My mother has lived here for 3 years and we are extremely happy with the facility and care given. The staff is super friendly and caring. We had to add more services to accommodate my mother this past year and are so thankful we didn't have to move her. Overall, I highly recommend The Windsor.

My brothers and I were so excited when our Mother announced that she felt it was time to "retire". She chose The Windsor. We are extremely pleased with her decision. It is going well for mom. It was about time for her to be in a community for seniors. The staff are the best and helpful. She is pretty independent needing little care. The meals have been good for her. The cleanliness here is very good, no concerns. Everything is going well at this community.
