Our family did not have a good experience, they were not able to keep the heat/ac regulated in our loved ones room. They also allowed covid positive people inside the community. We just do knot have any good feelings there, we would not encourage other families to go there.
THE NURSING STAFF WAS WONDERFUL. JUST DONT DEAL WITH [name removed] (SOME SORT OF MANAGER) AT THIS FACILITY, HOPFULLY YOUR LOVED ONE THATS IN THERE WONT HAVE TO LEAVE TO GO BACK TO A HOSPITAL BECAUSE THEY WONT BE ABLE TO GET BACK IN THIS FACILITY WITH OUT GIVNIG THEM 850.00 BUCKS, AND OUR LOVED ONE'S ROOM WAS NEVER FILLED, [name removed] IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT A NICE PERSON TO WORK WITH. [name removed] WOULD NOT LET OUR LOVED ONE BACK IN THIS FACILITY BECAUSE WE DIDNT HAVE 850.00 BUCKS TO GIVE HER & OUR LOVED ONE'S ROOM WAS STILL UNOCCUPIED. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE BASED ON OUIR EXPERIENCE WITH "[name removed]" WHO MAKES ALL FINAL DECISIONS. I WOULD HOWEVER GIVE THE NURSING STAFF 5 STARS.

I am honestly saying that this place is wonderful. The staff is great, as are all the facilities. My Mother is in the Haven Hall unit and is thriving there. I've just moved her from another facility that I wasn't pleased with, and am so happy to have found the Village of East Harbor.

My father is doing pretty well here at this community. For the most part I'am satisfied with all they have done for us. They do a pretty decent job with the cleanliness, it is a well maintained community. The staff is good, but they have a very high turn over rate. There are activities offered. She seems to have adjusted well and she is happy. I know she is safe and being cared for well. I would probably recommend this community to my friends and family.

A Place for Mom has scored The Village of East Harbor 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
