Very affordable, especially for someone who is living on a fixed income. Apartment units are beautiful and perfect for seniors who are downsizing. Staff is very professional, friendly, and respectful of the residents privacy. Amenities are great and very helpful - utilities and cable included in the monthly costs. My uncle loves to eat and enjoys the 3 square meals, coffee, and snacks being offered each day that are likewise included. The interior, dining area, hallways, recreation areas, pool, etc. may not be that flashy, but it is always clean and maintained. Thank you A Place For Mom for the recommendation.

They were very short staffed when my husband was there. So laundry was an issue and cleaning his room was a big issue but not sure if it was my husband being ornery or if it was just too hard to get cleaning staff. Many times it was director that brought clean sheets to room for him to make his bed. They were very nice just overwhelmed.

Mom is one that is difficult when it comes to change and either the staff gave up or didn’t even try. I have had almost daily phone calls of bad food or not the ability to get food. I have either had to have groceries delivered or find food locations to deliver. She has also been calling in tears that she is alone. Granted some are in her and I have told her but there seems to be no one trying to help get new people comfortable. Also activities end at 3pm for the price there should be more for people to do and become social. The main reason for this move was the social interaction which is clearly not happening as well as a better food choice. She has spoken with the chef and apparently there is little he can offer. She is currently at the point to just ride out her lease and move. This was to add less stress to me as the primary care giver but the opposite has occurred.

When it comes to the meals and dining we gave it a 2 due to the quantity, quality, and flexibility. They like the facilities and location the most. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The food has been a problem. Feels like it's hard to make friends and break into currently formed groups of residents. However they haven't been there long.

I would recommend Holiday The Tremont to others, based mostly on the feedback that I get from my friend who is a resident there. I accompanied my friend on her initial visit/tour, which was pleasant. My friend felt welcomed and during lunch, many of the residents relayed how happy they were living there. The cost fits well with her budget. [Name removed], the marketing person, answered questions, and followed up with my friend after the visit. On my recent visit, I saw the apartment which was very clean and pleasant. My friend loves living there and is quickly making friends.

The Tremont facility in Oviedo is a very clean, caring and active Community . Every time I’ve visited, the atrium and dinning hall are filled with a variety of activities that invite the residents to get involved.

July 11, 2023We are thrilled to have you as part of the Holiday by Atria family! Thank you for sharing your kind words with us. It means the world to us and to our team!
the meals are worst than previous changes but not for the better. have no other options - cheeseburgers, grilled cheese, hot dogs were "off the menu options." Need better options

We toured with The Tremont and they just did not offer any move in incentives (free rent, moving services etc.). Also, reportedly the food was not as good.
This is a community worth checking into to see if it would be the right fit for your loved one. This is a good community overall. They have several activities for the residents. The staff are friendly. The staff communication with the family has been good, it can be hard to sometimes speak to staff due to them multi-tasking.. The staff are good at multi-tasking and caring for the residents as well.

I liked the space. It was very welcoming, clean, and very pretty. Thay had lots of activities.
Staff retention issues likely due to pandemic, still lingering. Current staff wears a lot of hats, lots of distractions and things falling through cracks, hard to focus Food quality suffering. New chef hired, I hear it's better but not perfect, hit and miss now, and improving Staff is always helpful, just stretched thin Manager doesn't appear to be a good fit. I've seen better. Lost a lot of staff initially. Very dry personality. Pays attention to operative details but lacks on the resident engaging and interactive side. [name removed] who has been there 10 years is enthusiastic and caring about things being done right. She would be good manager. In a place like that it's important to have a people's manager vs a corporate centric manager. I personally feel the activities portion has suffered the most!!!! During pandemic is understandable how things had to slow down. But..... it should be ramped up to full speed by now. I hear complaints most about this. Boring, same old same old, no creativity or variety, no budget, no authorization to do now. The current director, [name removed], is beloved by residents. I don't think it's a lack of wanting to make things better by him, I think it appears to be corporate over regulation and caution or liability or budget. Doesn't have the budget or access to do what he or residents want. These residents are paying THOUSANDS per month for a room, meals and activities. I think activities are vital and necessary for a thriving community and business in this regard and it NEEDS to go back where it was pre-pandemic. Don't skimp on this part. Don't corporate bean count it to death. This is the primary part of a residents day and needs to be bustling and hustling like a cruise ship. Fun, fun, fun, and good mental health for residents. With the concerns above I question the current value for cost ratio. I STRONGLY believe and witness the residents aren't being optimally served for their fee which is likely why there was a recent mass exodus of residents to the brand new Savoy down the road which I understand is run by the same Ameritus corp who purchased Tremont -- so... I wonder just what is going on there with that dynamic? Was it just the low hanging fruit at Tremont to fill up the Savoy? At any rate, I do notice a decline in value and satisfaction there as does my family member.
The facility is beautiful and the setting is so nice. But the place has gone downhill badly. They are under new management and most residents who were there have moved out. They will not pay the employees enough and they cannot find good help. The manager is doing all of the jobs. It was a fabulous place before when they were under Holiday - but it has since changed A TON.

Good community, it was more expensive than we wanted.
My parents are very happy here. We chose The Tremont because of the close location as well as the affordability. The apartment size that they have is perfect for what they need and they have plenty of storage space. Although they do not partake, they have a ton of activities provided for residents. I would recommend recommend to others looking.

Overall our experience was pretty positive. The staff was always very helpful, and I liked them for the most part. My loved one was pretty satisfied with the food, more happy more than unhappy. They were a little inconsistent with the maid service. I also had to complain a couple of times about a communal dryer that needed to be repaired. But other than that, they were very supportive of what we were going through.

August 17, 2021Hi there, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on your experience! We would love to have you here with us, please feel free to reach out to the local team with any questions at all. Thank you!
Very friendly staff. the people all looked well taken care of, and happy. The one bed room rooms were adequate for one person that we saw. Don't like that people can smoke there. The meal plans looked good. But this was the only place we saw so far so we have nothing to compare it to.

A Place for Mom has scored The Tremont 8.6 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
