This place was highly recommended by my accountant, who has many clients in TLG, so she knows they don't do funky financial stuff (unlike Forum). My mother stayed here from age 89-93, 2017-2021, in The Lodge. She had good care, and on the 2 occasions after a hospital stay, she was able to recuperate in a rehabilitation room just down the hall from her apartment. That was comforting. I did not like the people I dealt with before she lived here - the Marketing and Financial people, putting up surprise roadblocks at the last minute before she moved in. She paid about $[removed]/month, but no entrance fee. I want to thank [name removed], who helped me with the CNA LTCI paperwork. Unfortunately she abruptly quit in 2021 and the person replacing her didn't know what he was doing. But dealing with LTC insurance is hard, so I cannot blame him. I hope they rehired someone competent. Anyway they took care of my mother well, she was happy here.... Read more

A Place for Mom has scored The Terraces of Los Gatos 7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
