We love the facility. It gives my mother-in-law room to get her walks in. There are scheduled activities, crafts, musical bands, pet therapy and some outings to keep her busy, although she would rather walk than enjoy them. We hope maybe one day she will get to enjoy. The staff is very caring and understanding with her as well. I'm thankful we found a place close to our home that we know has her best interest at heart.... Read more

The Springs was an okay place - nothing wrong with it. It just didn't fit our loved ones needs. They did not offer private rooms, only semi-private, which would not have worked for our loved one. Also it was very strictly regulated regarding coming/going, although I understand the necessity of that for some residents. I thought the staff were very cordial and very attentive. If it fits your needs, it seems like it would be a good place.
Anytime our loved one has a set back whether it is medically or behavioral changes they are so accommodating and work with her and redirect her correctly. We really appreciate that and we would highly recommend The Springs community based on our experience so far to other families.

This is a great place to have your loved ones. I have seen a great improvement in my loved one’s cognitive memory and has gained some weight since being in the community. Hay rides, parades, holiday scenes, active memory games, and more are some of the activities available for the residents to participate in.

The community is spotless and the staff members are very helpful. We have had no complaints, and we were able to see some of the activities but due to covid they are scaled back. The community is expensive, but it is well worth it.

I would tell people we had one exceptionally great nurse, that my loved one loved. We also had a nurse who my loved one didn't care for. The community worked hard to help with my loved one with food and being a picky eater.

The wide halls and windows make for a bright, open place. Deer and turkey can be seen out the northwest windows which my dad would love. The rooms and bathrooms are a good, comfortable size. They have a nice activities rooms for events such as Bingo and the upcoming Super Bowl party. The courtyard is in the middle of the facility and is landscaped nicely. There are sidewalks for walking and benches, tables, and chairs for enjoying the outdoors. The dining area was well lit and clean.

My mom has been in the Springs for 18 months and over that time I have grown to special care and patience given to all the patients. The facility is well kept and the staff is very professional and attempt to meet the individual needs of the patients. After visiting our homes in the city this is my choice by far.

I am very impressed with this facility. From the first time that we toured the place is the reason why we moved forward with them to have my love one there. The staff team is wonderful, helpful, communicative, and I was not expecting it to be the way that it is. I recommend their services.

This looked like a wonderful community when we visited. The people we met were very nice. This community was not right for us as my loved one did not need memory care.

They are very clean and the staff are all very friendly! They could definitely improve on their activities by offering a better variety, and just more activities in general. It's very expensive, but they all are. One thing that was hard was the change in staff when we were going through the admissions process, since no one let us know that was happening. However, their director was very courteous and professional, and really tried to help us through the whole process.

We have had a good experience with them. They are very clean and friendly. They seem to be in between activities directors. When they had an activities director they had good activities. The food seems to be good. We liked the atmosphere there. So far our experience seems to be a good one.

A Place for Mom has scored The Springs 8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
