My mom is receiving excellent care here. Everybody that works there you can tell that they love the people that live there. My mom had did not want to leave her home, but she really really likes living there.

Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Our grandmother is well taken care of and truly loved! Tons of activities for residents to participate in, and holidays are always special occasions. The entire staff is extremely kind. We are very happy to have found them.

We were so fortunate to have come across Baycrest Senior Living for our Mom. The facility is really nice as well as the management and the staff. Mom has been able to do activities and be around other people. They serve three meals a day plus snacks during the day. She has therapy come there twice a week to help her walk. We feel good knowing someone is there to help her everyday and night.

The caregivers there are excellent. They try to do anything you want. They are there when you need them. They are very good with housekeeping. The rooms are always spotless. They do anything that you ask of them. They’re very good. The meals are excellent and they make any special request if you do not like what is being served. The management is excellent and always takes care of any concerns or complaints. They always make time for each resident. The activities are very good. We play bingo twice a week they keep you moving with exercise every morning. I enjoy all the different games we play in the afternoon. We have lots of volunteers with music in the afternoon as well we go outside for lunches and barbecues when the weather is nice. It is a very very good place to live.

My grandmother moved into Baycrest in September of 2023, and so far, we have only had positive dealings with this facility. My brother and I are my grandmother's POA, so we were the ones responsible for finding and interviewing potential places. She has moderate dementia and some health complications, and Baycrest assisted living is the perfect place for her. They have arranged everything they could to help us, including prescriptions delivered, changing to a doctor who makes nursing home visits, and even transporting her occasionally as needed for lab appointments. She has no complaints and has finally been able to calm her anxiety with the help of the friendly staff and the care she's receiving from her doctor. The facility looks much more like a home than most other places, and they keep her busy with exercise classes and activities. She's satisfied and so are we.

Baycrest is a nice assisted living facility. The staff are wonderful from the Director all the way down the line. They are consistently helpful and responsive to any request. We very seldom have a request, but when we do, they’re very good to answer quickly and efficiently. The only complaint that my father has had with Baycrest is the food. It has been consistently bad and very small portions. He has had good things to say about one meal since he’s been there. It was pulled pork. One time he commented that he actually got two pieces of bacon instead of the normal one, and was pretty thrilled at that. All in all I think it’s been a good experience, but something really does need to be done about the lack of flavor in the food. & the portion size.

My precious wife has had Alzheimer's for 14 years. A couple of years ago, we moved her into an Alzheimer's home. I was disappointed in the care she received. We are now at Baycrest in the Memory Unit, and I am thrilled with the care she is getting. At Baycrest, the facility does not feel like another hospital but like a home. It has a large living room for the residents, a lovely kitchen where the meals are prepared, and a fireplace everyone can gather around and enjoy. The grounds are also well taken care of and blooming with flowers.

Baycrest Senior Living of San Angelo is an incredible place! My grandmother is currently a resident there. I live quite a ways from San Angelo, but Baycrest has given me and my family such peace of mind knowing our loved one is in such an amazing facility. The staff is top notch and truly take care of each resident as if they are their own. We cannot imagine a better place for my grandmother!

My mother-in-law is a precious “jewel”, but a jewel that needs a lot of care. She was a loving caretaker herself for lots of grandkids and she is now getting “paid back” in full by the loving care she receives in her “home “ at Baycrest. She has been in both the Assisted Living and the Memory Care areas. Both have been very clean and caring…going above and beyond to provide sweet, fun, safe and stimulating activities with a “homey” vibe. The residents are loved and cared for as if they were family. We always feel welcome and enjoy our time there with her. She is in the BEST place possible to have her needs met in a kind, loving and trustworthy home away from home. Thank you, Baycrest.

My dad was at Baycrest for 2 years. The care he received was top notch. The administration and all the Aides treated my dad as if he was their own family. I never had to worry about his care. The employees are like family to me as well.

My grandmother has been living at Baycrest for 2 and a half years and it has been the best experience. The staff is phenomenal and they go above and beyond for their residents. From workout classes to arts and crafts to weekly bingo there is always something for her to do. The residents have become more like family to her and to us. From the minute you walk in the door it feels like home. There is no other place I would want my Grandmother living than at Baycrest!

My step dad was a resident at New Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care. I was pleased with the care he received. During the pandemic, the staff went out of their way facetiming to make the seperation a bit easier. The meals were great and they offered alternatives that were equally great. Room was always clean and staff were always prompt to answering his call button. I would recommend this facility to all.

I would overall recommend this place to anyone looking to find a place for their parents to live. There have been a few issues, but they have been dealt with quickly. The director there, [name removed], is great about communicating issues with the family and dealing with them. Most of the staff treat my parents like they are their own grandparents

We've gotten really good service from the management. Tessa Williams has been outstanding in helping us work through various issues. Overall they've provided good care to my loved one, even when she presents dementia-related challenges. It's expensive but on par with other places.

Our experience was that there little to no effort to support the resident and their issues. It appeared that the first response to the resident was to call us for corrective instructions. We were tripled billed for the first month and it took over 45 days for reimbursement. The administrator, [name removed], gave us 24 hours to find another facility & move the resident; that was a direct violation of the contract. We fully understand the resident [name removed] was difficult but goodness, the movement to 3 different rooms was not a realistic approach to dealing with his issues.

This is a great place to put your loved one. It is a small community and it makes it feel like family. The best part of the community is knowing my loved one is being take care of and gives me peace of mind.

New Haven Assisted Living and Memory Care has been absolutely amazing. I have been thoroughly impressed, they have been great with communication they call if anything is needed and keep me up to date on everything. The food is excellent, they have their own chef on site who prepares their meals. It is very homey, they have a wonderful sitting area with a fireplace and it just feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend them over any other place in San Angelo.

The staff was great and kind to me and my loved one. It was a nice break from caring for my loved one. The thing that bothered me the most, is they promised a recliner. The did deliver on their promise; however, the recliner was very short for my loved one. I was able to get my loved one into the community, when there didn't seem to be any options as good as this one.
