Currently it is freezing in my unit and possibly other Seniors unuts in October 2023. No communication from Management regarding getting the heat on for the tenants at the Park Trowbridge. They come on the intercom for needless messages but in the event of a fire or when the damn heat will be turned on there is total silence. Oh that's right "they are working on it, the heat. How will the tenants know when or if the heats gets turned on? Where is the communication regarding important issues/situations - guess what there is none! If you love your loved one be very careful where they move or live. What appears luxurious from a glance can be smoke and mirrors.

Sadly I don't have many good remarks for the time my mom spent there. The tour vs. the actual living experience was a complete 360, covid aside. There was no structure of stability as far as staff or management. There was no concern for safety of residents. There were no meals / dining available, there were no activities available. We experienced pests/bugs that I've never witnessed in my life until residing at the facility. It's pure disappointment that a property with a lot of potential is being wasted.

I was very pleased with the facilities!! The apartments were great. The hallways were always clean. Loved the option for hair care. Loved the reading area. Books were age appropriate. Activities were great and the interactions were good. It didn't have a senior smell in the lobby. It looked like an upscale apartment. I was very pleased. If my little lady had been mentally able to live on her own more, she would have stay a lot longer.

Management does not exist, drainage or hot water is broken frequently, get morning announcements in every apartment whether you are a senior citizen or not, the floors are constantly dirty, and again the management does not exist nor are they transparent. The prices are good for what you get but I am excited to move out!!!!!!

I understand that the Pandemic has made it difficult to find & keep good people. However, even before that, the place had problems - particularly with cleanliness. Rooms not cleaned, hallways filthy, trash overflowing & smelling. Then there were the couple months of bedbugs. Also, broken closet doors that never get fixed, garbage disposals do not work, elevators constantly stopping - one has been out of commission for months. Many people have moved out. I have heard about an ownership change, which would be good. But in the meantime, people pay to live there - it should at least be clean & well-maintained. At this point, the place does not live up to the advertising. The staff is nice enough, & may have more on their plate than they can handle. But owners need to step up & make sure the place is livable. I keep putting off calling the Health Department, but if things don't change soon, that will have to happen for the well-being of the residents.

I recently had the oppurtunity to take a tour at The Park of Trowbridge in Southfield. I found that the newly renovated independent living facility to be quite warm, with had an extremely homelike atmosphere. They were kind enough to ask me to join their residents for lunch. There menu had multible choices and everything was delicious. I felt like I was enjoying my lunch in a fine restaruant.

The staff goes above and beyond to make sure the residents have what they need. My mother has lived there for almost 3 years and I couldn't be happier with the services. The food is delicious and the activities are a blast. I highly recommend Trowbridge to anyone who is looking for a place that is so much more than a community, it is a true home.

After touring many communities, my parents decided to move into The Park at Trowbridge. It is an adjustment but they are liking their apt very much. It is very spacious and my mom was able to install her own washer dryer in their unit which was a top priority for her. The Park cleaned, painted & updated the flooring before they moved in and it was done extremely well. My parents do enjoy the meals although sometimes it can get a little repetitious. She has said they need more vegetables/ entree salads on the menu. The staff are nice and reply quickly. The maintenance men are very helpful. The building is being updated and is modern and airy. Hopefully it will be completed soon. Overall my parents are happy with our choice and look forward to the many years to come.

The quality of caregiving provided by Homestead (the contracted health care company) is inconsistent and fair at best. I would not recommend them. Trowbridge staff is slow to respond to requests like maintenance and other concerns. They also fail to give thorough information about facility policies and procedures.

Every time I visit The Park at Trowbridge, I am always greeted by everyone that I cross paths with. The receptionist, [name removed], always says 'Hello' first thing as I walk in. [Name removed], the Sales and Marketing director, made the move in process so smooth and comfortable. It was such a wonderful experience.

I wanted to express my appreciation to the staff at Trowbridge for all your efforts to accommodate us for the concert my piano students gave on [date removed]. In particular [name removed] and [name removed] were most helpful in scheduling and the actual set up. It is really a pleasure playing for the residents and we appreciate all of the staff's efforts in enabling us to do so!

A Place for Mom has scored The Park at Trowbridge 7.8 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
