When it comes to the meals and dining service the residents complain of having same meals over and over - family hasn't seen a menu posted. Other than church, we are not aware of activities other than once when the resident was asked to join a painting session. He declined. Value- considering resident's condition he doesn't require constant assistance from staff, was mobile when he moved in, could dress himself. He fell in the bathroom and had hip surgery and is getting PT at The Orchard which his insurance pays. He gets in and out of a wheelchair, bathes himself, dresses himself and has regular visits from family to monitor his progress. We feel the monthly fee for his room, bathroom, meals, dispensing of meds and laundry, the amount of [fee removed] is a little steep. Because of the cleanliness of the facility, the professional and courteous staff and location, as well as the bond with other residents that he made so quickly, this was the place for him for now! We chose The Orchard at Stone Creek because the facilities are modern, beautiful, and very clean. The more experienced staff is outstanding. However, some new assistants are struggling to meet expectations on the weekends. I would recommend this facility to other families who are searching.

A Place for Mom has scored The Orchard at Stone Creek 8.5 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.
We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.
Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
