The Lynmoore at Lawnwood

I recommend it all the time. My mom has been there almost 3 years and the Lynmore has had a few management changes but the heart of the staff remains with the facility. They are caring and consistent I know my mom is safe and well cared for. They try to keep the activities well rounded for all . It's truly a family atmosphere

My younger brother transferred to assisted living in Lynmoore more than a year after he suffered a massive stroke. He had been in and out of intensive care while bedridden in a different rehab and skilled nursing facility. After many months there he had recovered just enough to eat and swallow soft food but he was still unable to walk. Then he came to Lynmoore, just before Christmas. My wife and I visited him a few months later. What a difference! We walked in one day just after his physical therapy session ended; he was walking back to his room with the therapist by his side, not in his wheelchair! That never happened before. This alone would rate five stars. He was in such bad shape when he first came to Lynmoore that a couple of staff members admitted to me that they didn't think he would make it. He was admitted and flourished because the Wellness Director believed in him, motivated him from the very beginning, and everyone there took good care of him around the clock.

The overall experience was great. The workers were amiable. I put a camera in her room, which I felt made a big difference because I could see what they were doing, and they knew the camera was there. She didn't participate in the activities, but there seemed to be something going on every day. The food was delicious. Most importantly, I credit the CNAs for keeping her clean because it wasn't easy. They need a raise I would definitely recommend Lynmoore to anyone and I forgot to mention the maintenance worker was really helpful and did a great job

There is a lack of communication between staff members and myself. Phone calls are not returned. Miscommunication concerning medications and medical attention.

Nice people very efficient community, they take very good care of [name removed]for me, any concerns they contact me right away. I think it was the best choice I made for her. She is well cared for.

Overall is great. But price went up a lot. But that's probably the case everywhere. It's clean in the memory care and quiet on the magnolia side.

I would recommend it to others. I'd say it's a nice place. The food is good, the rooms are large and the people are friendly. We picked this community, because I liked where my mother's room was going to be located.

The Lynmoore at Lawnwood appears to be very clean which we are really happy with. Most of the staff members we have encountered are very friendly, while some are distant. We cannot comment on the activities because he choose not to participate in them. We would absolutely recommend The Lynmoore community to other families based on our experience so far.

Great place for your loved one or friend. Very willing to accommodate with you, and no question goes unanswered. I couldn't have picked a better place for my friend. Recommend them to anyone. Prices are very reasonable.

They are really good with keeping the residents busy .There have been many changes for the better over the past few months. They need to work on better cleaning efforts in the residents rooms. The garbage needs to be removed more frequently . But when addressed it is taken care of promptly. I am there a lot and keep on top of my loved ones stuff. I don't know what it would be like if I wasn't there as often. Other than that, we are pleased with the facility and care provided.

I'd give this community all 5 stars, except for value for the money- very expensive to have them administer Rx (haven't chose to do that yet). But we are happy with them!

The Lynmoore at Lawnwood has been a great fit for our mother. The employees are very helpful and care about the seniors. Place is very clean. All staff have been very friendly. The food has been very good with a nice selection at every meal. The care from house keeping, Physical therapy and nursing has been very good. Overall we're very happy with her care.

The main reason we chose The Lynmoore at Lawnwood was because they had a higher level of medical care that they were able to provide through end of life. Most other places did not go quite that far. They have more doctors and nurses who are on staff for more hours of the day. My loved one was extremely resistant and extremely unhappy to be going here and I was very impressed by how many of the staff were able to be involved in different ways in helping him settle in and make him comfortable. It was truly remarkable. I would definitely recommend them to others.

DO NOT COME HERE! There are no caring associates, no best personalized care, NO 24 hour attentive atmosphere. There isn't any security here. The front door is left unattended from 7pm until the next morning. The 24-hour personal call system is nothing more than a pendant with a button to push when one needs help. My mother has pushed the button many times. There is never a response.! My Mother fell & pushed the button. and waited on the floor close to 4 hours before somebody came in! The food is horrible! You MUST go to the dining room or YOU GET CHARGED TO EAT IN YOUR ROOM! The Lynmoore cant get/keep help. It's really sad when I see people that are forced to go to the dining room rather than pay to eat in their rooms & they are sleeping in their wheelchairs with their faces just inches from their plate. If you want to punish your loved one then bring them to the Lynmoore.

All of the staff members have been great, there has not been one person who is not social, they always greet us and say hi when passing down the hallways. Just from speaking with our loved one and other residents the food seems to be okay. It is not the best but not the worst, and it does seem like they are starting to bring back a few activities.
