The memory care unit is very understaffed and they have a fake calendar of activities on the wall. The residents are put in front of the tv for several hours a day. The short time that they do have activities, the person running them is great, she is just not there for long enough. The residents are bored and act out due to this. All complaints fall on deaf ears, even when sent to corporate. The furniture is old, some broken and smells like urine, carpets need to be replaced. I would not recommend, and have moved my loved one out.

I chose the enclave because of value for cost. It was also the right size facility for my mother, big enough to offer a lot, but not overwhelming in size. I would recommend to others.

The place is not fancy like some of others we looked at, but staff is very good from the top down. There is plenty to do and mother is very active. The nursing staff has been very good. My mother is happy with the food. We have recommended it to several of her friends.

We appreciate the care that the staff provides. They work hard to meet my Mom's needs with dignity, respect, and kindness. The facility is always clean and nicely decorated. The housekeeping is regular and we have no complaints. Our communications are great and feel like the staff and Director of Wellness partner with us to make sure my Mom is getting what she needs. We feel great about our choice of the Enclave and feel that my Mom is safe and being well cared for. She enjoys her apartment and the opportunity for easy to join activities.

Dealing with communication of financial dept. and change of care contract's could definitely be better. But mom and I love it. I would definitely recommend the Enclave to someone. We were really struggling to find mom the right fit. After a couple setbacks in other facilities we were blessed with meeting you.

I like the services and amenities provided at the facility. The dining options are plentiful in the food is of high quality. I think they could improve upon some of the organization of the activities. They're currently looking for a new activities, Director.

A friendly staff. Nice accommodations. We oicked this community because price was a factor. They have had some issues with staffing turnover. In summary, it is a safe clean facility

I can't say enough good things about the place. I have peace of mind knowing that my mom is definitely well cared for. I have recently placed a camera in her room, as she has had moments where she falls. The staff have been fantastic at relaying any information back to me when these or anything might happen with Mom. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend to anyone looking!

My mom was here for a respite stay for a couple of weeks. It was an easy process to get in and the staff were super accommodating to our needs. She really enjoyed the activities provided and the food that was served. We are hoping to go back again in the next couple of months. I would highly recommend The Enclave to other families.

The cleanliness of the community itself is very good, but sometimes they are not as consistent with emptying our loved ones trash as we would like. However, the staff are all very friendly and we do think it is a well ran facility. The dining service most of the time is very good, sometimes it tends to be slow but they did just hire more staff. The quality of the food is a lot better then other place. We have been a little disappointed in the activities, the selection is really good but they only offer certain activities are certain times that conflict with our loved ones schedule.

One reason we chose The Enclave is on the first floor there is an outdoor patio area where would loved one could walk freely outside. When we see the meals everything looks and smells great but our loved one is not the biggest fan. The community is having some staffing issues so the activities have suffered a little bit, they are non consistent. However we cannot blame them, we think it is just due to the current circumstances.

I would recommend you not to go there. During COVID the community isolated the residents in their rooms. The staff communication with family is non-existent. During our stay the community wasn't doing activates.

Clean, lots of activities, warm atmosphere, price and unit perfect for needs. Hope a unit will be available when we are ready pending sale of a condo. This is our first choice.

Response from The Enclave of Franklin Assisted Living and Memory Care Community
May 6, 2021Thank you for sharing-and the wonderful review! We are now happy to have family visits in resident apartments with the added safety protocols in place to assure the wellbeing of all. We appreciate your support to keep your loved one safe-as they are our family too!
We chose the Enclave based on a personal recommendation, as well as in-person shopping other local assisted living residences. We moved my mother in just a week before the pandemic restrictions were put in place, so naturally, all of the plans and expected life-enriching activities were severely curtailed. In my case, I had to visit the facility weekly to refill my mother's medications, which gave me a familiarity with much of the staff. My mother had to be moved into the memory care wing, and subsequently was placed on hospice care status. Once she was on hospice care, restricted in-room visitation with full ppe was allowed. This gave me added confidence in the staff. They truly understand and give excellent care to the residents, which I observed first hand. I must also give highest compliments to the vigilance of the staff on the steps they take to keep everyone in the facility Coronavirus safe. If you are moving your loved one during the pandemic, it will be a harder adjustment than during normal times, but I'm still very happy with the level of care, and feel no one could do better. I would suggest that if you are new to the process, you talk to other people who have been through this with their family member. There are differences and small details to be aware of between facilities to find the best fit, but the Enclave still get my vote as a truly great choice.

May 6, 2021WOW-we cannot express how deeply we are touched by your review and trust in us to care for your mother during such a challenging time for us all! We are honored to have your loved one as part of the Enclave family, and realize how special this is as we know you have many choices and options in the area. Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience and finding our community to be the right fit-it truly makes us so happy!
This is a great community for us. We can visit our loved on the patio with masks on and social distancing. Our loved one is very happy here. We were worried about this, since she didn't want to leave her apartment. They have done an amazing job! The activities still are going on during COVID. The family has been able to do car parades, and residents have been able to play bingo, have singers come and sing outside, play cards, and the community has kept the residents busy. The only complaint our loved one has given her one too much food.

Response from The Enclave of Franklin Assisted Living and Memory Care Community
September 30, 2020Thank you so much for your review and visiting our community-we are very proud of our community feel and culture here at the Enclave of Franklin. Our Memory Care Household is very "homey" as you shared, and we work hard to provide great care, compassion and services to our residents for their well being and peace of mind for families.
Liked the location as it is near everything. Only problem is lack of 2 bedroom apartments and no closet space for two living in a one bedroom. Not sure my stepdad would make the transition well without more space. Mom would be fine. Lots of activities and very pleasant surroundings. Staff was friendly and helpful.
